Limoges Romantic Corner Boxes!

The Limoges Love Story of Nicole and Vincent. Paris 2010.

In 2010, Nicole was an art student at La Sorbonne University in Paris. Vincent had just finished his studies at l’ Ecole Centrale- outside of Paris-.

Vincent met Nicole at a friends’ party and felt from the first moment he had found his soul mate. Vincent loved the USA since he was a kid and his dream was to come to America one day as he felt he could give much more to the world from this lovely country.

Two weeks later, Vincent gave Nicole a Limoges antique style porcelain box with a rose and gold leaf accents. Nicole was fascinated by the way the rose was painted and put that little treasure near her student window apartment. Every morning, she would admire the rose of her antique style Limoges box and discovered that the rose was realistic and gentle at the same time. The Limoges Rose of the box was changing colors according to the sunlight and she felt the petals were so soft that they could fly away with the wind anytime.

Two weeks later, Vincent took Nicole to a lovely picnic near Ile de France and after that they admired the Eiffel tower and walked the Champs De Mars. Vincent gave Nicole a Limoges Gold Eiffel Tower with People Box to remember that special day.

Two weeks later, and after having spent lots of time together, Vincent gave Nicole a Limoges Box with a Message “ A  Moment Enjoyed is Never Wasted”. Nicole was so happy she already had a little Limoges Boxes collection in her apartment.  Not too much time went by and Nicole gets her Limoges couple on heart box with flowers. Vincent told her:  “ These Limoges porcelain flowers will always remain fresh”.

Eight months later, Vincent proposed to Nicole and gave her a Limoges “Love Always” Heart Box from The Cottage Shop.

Today, Nicole and Vincent live in New York, USA, happily married and expecting their first child. Since then, Vincent has been buying lots of Limoges boxes from The Cottage Shop as he feels The Cottage Shop has a special way to recreate the true artistic French atmosphere in the Limoges boxes we sell.
